SEGA has revealed that the Two Point Campus, the sequel to Two Point Hospital, has been delayed by three months.

Developed by Two Point Studios, Two Point Campus was supposed to release on May 17th. However, it now has a new release date of August 9th, 2022. The news of the delay was revealed in a new developer diary video.

Two Point Campus being a management sim, this genre of game is often associated with the keyboard and mouse of the PC. However, if Two Point Hospital and Jurassic World Evolution have taught us, is that this genre of game can be a success on consoles.

In the developer diary, it’s explained that it’s always been the goal to release Two Point Campus simultaneously on PC as well as console. Ensuring that all formats meet the high standards set by the developers, is the main reason for the delay.

Our ambition from the start has been to release Two Point Campus across all PC and console platforms simultaneously to the quality and standard that our community expects from us. This means we will need a little bit more time with Two Point Campus to make sure we deliver the best possible game that can be enjoyed equally on all platforms,” said Mark Webley, Game Director at Two Point Studios. “We will use these additional three months to optimise Two Point Campus for all platforms.

Two Point Campus will be released for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Two Point Campus will also launch day one on Xbox Game Pass. Are you disappointed by the delay? Let us know across our social media channels.
