SEGA Is Delisting Classic Games Ahead Of Sonic Origins Launch
SEGA Has announced that it will be delisting the classic digital standalone Sonic games ahead of the Sonic Origins launch.
Sonic Origins features remasters of Sonic 1, 2, Sonic 3 and Sonic CD, as well as other bonus features. More information can be found here. From May 20th, 2022, the standalone versions of these games will no longer be available, apart from on Nintendo Switch.

So, if you wanted to buy the original versions of these games on digital platforms, you might want to do it before they’re gone. However, as alluded to earlier, Sonic 1 and 2 will still be available via SEGA Ages on the Switch, as well as Sonic 2 via Nintendo Switch Online+.
Sonic Origins will release for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on June 23rd.
