Announced over three years ago (at the time of writing), it’s been a patient wait indeed for fans excited to see the release of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.

Sequel to the quite brilliant Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, this sequel comes with a lot of high expectations, especially since the developer’s Ninja Theory is now a Microsoft-owned studio with a lot of financial backing.

The latest trailer for Hellade II didn’t reveal all that much in terms of story or content, but it was at least very visually stunning nonetheless. Furthermore, the trailer is recommended to watch wearing a pair of headphones, should you have any water nearby.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will be released for PC and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2024.
