Despite being inspired by a hit animated sitcom that’s been around for decades, South Park: Snow Day has gone somewhat under the radar, perhaps largely due to it not being a big AAA release like The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole.

Sure, South Park: Snow Day has RPG mechanics, but it instead has a focus on co-op multiplayer. I don’t think South Park: Snow Day will blow us away, but as a fan of the series, it’s still a game that I’m intrigued by. Thankfully we won’t have long to play the game because it releases in just under a few months from now.

Developed by the somewhat unknown studio Question, South Park: Snow Day will be released on 26 March 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. What’s more, it’s also getting a Collector’s Edition which comes with a snow globe and a bog roll holder.

South Park: Snow Day standard edition comes at a budget price of just £24.99/€29.99/$29.99. It will also have a Digital Deluxe priced at £39.99/€49.99/$49.99 which comes with cosmetic DLC, and weapon types as well as a new game mode. However, its Collector’s Edition is far from the budget price.

To be fair, the Collector’s Edition does have some really fun items, but considering that the base game is just £24.99, £189.99 seems like quite the leap. That being said, value is subjective to the individual.

The South Park: Snow Day Collector’s Edition includes a copy of the game, a Grand Wizard Cartman Snow Globe, a Grand Wizard Cartman Talking Toilet Paper Holder, a Grand Wizard Cartman Knit Beanie, six tarot codes and the game’s original soundtrack.
