Star Wars Outlaws revealed by Ubisoft and it looks great
Finally, we were treated to the first gameplay of Ubisoft’s new open-world Star Wars game and it looks great.
Announced back in January 2021 and developed by Massive Entertainment, we’ve not known much about Star Wars: Outlaws up until this point and the gameplay reveal did not disappoint. Set during the original trilogy, you play as Kay Vess alongside her trusty and cute sidekick, Nix.
In the 10-minute gameplay walkthrough, we see Kay and Nix on a mission to steal an important relic. However, as with most outlaws of the Star Wars galaxy, the Galatic Empire is never far away. Before long after revealing a dialogue option, Kay and Nix are soon on the run as wanted enemies of the Empire with bounties on their heads.
During the demo, we see stealth, combat and even space dogfight battles. The game will also feature an open world (galaxy) to explore. It was nice to finally see this game in action and it’s at least left me feeling quite impressed.
Star Wars: Outlaws will be released in 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
