Starfield is one of the biggest games to release this year and despite its early success, Bethesda is looking to improve on its formula.
Of course, Bethesda games are always infamously buggy, especially at launch, so it’s of the utmost importance that Starfield continues to be the best game that it can be. The latest update improved the FOV, as well as improving performance and more.
To be honest, there’s not much that this major update improves as it’s sadly quite minimal. That being said, you can read the patch notes below.
GENERAL
- FOV: Sliders are now available in Settings that allow players using first person or third person to adjust their FOV.
PERFORMANCE AND STABILITY:
- [PC ONLY] Improved stability for Intel Arc GPUs.
- Various additional stability and performance improvements.
QUEST
- Echoes of the Past: Addressed an issue where tunnelling creatures could pick a location that would prevent progression.
Starfield is out now on PC and Xbox Series X|S. It is also available via Xbox Game Pass at no extra cost to subscribers.
