Tekken 8 gets a playable demo available now

The next entry in Bandai Namco’s Tekken series is nearly upon us and fans can now get a sample of the game ahead of its launch early next year.

Some fans may have had a taste of Tekken 8 already due to its recent closed beta test, but now a playable demo has been made public. The Tekken 8 demo is available now on PlayStation 5 and will arrive for PC and Xbox Series X|S on 21 December. We were also treated to a new story trailer. Happy days!

Not only will you be able to battle other players locally and online, but you can also sample an adjusted first chapter of its Arcade Quest. The demo’s Versus mode will have Jin, Kazuta, Paul and Nina as playable characters as well as the Urban Square (Evening), Yakuushima and Sanctum stages. What’s more, it will also feature the Super Ghost Battle as well as a gallery featuring cutscenes from the original Tekken through to Tekken 7.

Tekken 8 will be released on 26 January 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
