Naughty Dog has announced that The Last of Us remake has gone Gold, happy days!
Going Gold in the modern era means that the game has finished its main cycle of development. This means that it’s on its way to being ready for its big release this September.

Hopefully now that The Last of Us: Part 1 has gone gold, Naughty Dog might treat us to a gameplay presentation in the coming weeks.
