EA and Respawn Entertainment have announced that Titanfall has been removed from sale forever on PC and Xbox One. Press [F] to pay respects.

Titanfall was released in 2014 and at the time it was quite a controversial release, as it had no single player campaign and was an online multiplayer game only. This is quite funny, as this happens fairly often nowadays.

Furthermore, Titanfall will also be removed from EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on March 1st, 2022.

However, there is some good news at least. Respawn has promised to keep the servers alive as a thank you to the “dedicated fanbase still playing”. Though it will be interesting to see if the servers are still alive in two years’ time. Additionally, those that have purchased Titanfall will still be able to re-download the game at any point.

At this time, the fantastic sequel, Titanfall 2 has not been impacted by this news. The sequel was released in 2016 and not only has fantastic online multiplayer but also a brilliant single player campaign too.
