Nordisk Games say that the acquisition has been made “to increase our support to the team, and most importantly, continue the great working relationship we have with them.” Well, also to make a bucket load of dosh.
While the price of the acquisition hasn’t been shared, Supermassive Games CEO says it will offer the studio security and an opportunity to grow.
“Having had such a positive experience over the past year it wasn’t a difficult decision when Nordisk Games wanted to explore increasing their investment,” said Samuels.
“In acquiring 100% of the studio we’ll be able to increase our support to the team, and most importantly, continue the great working relationship we have with them,” said Nordisk Games CEO, Mikkel Wider.
