Apparently, the release date, cover art, and DLC details have leaked for WWE 2K22. So, could this mean that all will be officially revealed soon?

The leaks were leaked on Twitter by journalist, Nils Ahrensmeier. The cover arts feature pro wrestling legend Rey Mysterio, and it looks legit. In fact, if you’re a follower of the WWE 2K series, all the details will appear to be authentic.

Rey Mysterio will apparently feature on both the standard and deluxe covers. Furthermore, the game is said to release on March 11th. The Deluxe Edition will grant 3-days early access as well as the Undertaker Immortal Pack (pre-order bonus) and the season pass. Apparently, the Undertaker Immortal Pack will only be included with the Deluxe Edition.

Though it wouldn’t surprise me if this Undertaker DLC isn’t pre-order DLC, but rather just extra content with the Deluxe. Traditionally, all versions of WWE 2K get pre-order DLC regardless of the version. But I could be wrong.

The Undertaker Immortal Pack includes three Deadman versions such as the Phantom Mask Undertaker, Lord of Darkness Undertaker and Boneyard Match Undertaker. Additionally, it will also include MyFaction Evo cards for Taker, as well as MyFaction perks and other bonuses.

There will also apparently be a premium WWE 2K22 nWo 4-Life Edition, but no further details on this version have been revealed.

Obviously at this time, while much of these details do seem legit, we must take all rumours with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise. That being said, 2K has teased an official announcement for later this week, so all will soon be revealed.
