Latest PlayStation 5 Update Is Blocking Some Players Online Access
The latest PlayStation 5 system is now live and it adds some great new features. However, there have been reports that online access is being blocked.
At the forefront of the new PS5 features are improvements made to the PS App, including being able to upload captured gameplay for UK players. The PS5 also now has voice command controls. Details on what the latest update brings can be found via the tweet below.

However, there have been multiple reports suggesting that since this update went live, some players have not been able to access multiplayer as well as online features. The issue seems to be quite widespread, including games such as Elden Ring, GTA 5, Call of Duty and more.
From what I can find online, a lot of players seem to be reporting that since the update, their PlayStation Plus subscription is not being acknowledged when trying to play games online. Thankfully, Sony is aware of the issue and they are investigating to find a cause and fix it.

It might be too late already, but if you haven’t downloaded the latest PS5 update, it might be worth holding out until Sony finds a fix.
