Sony has announced that the new-gen upgrade for Death Stranding: Director’s Cut will cost just £5 in the UK.
Up until now, the new-gen upgrade for Death Stranding: Director’s Cut has also been detailed in the US at the cost of $10. Most of us probably assumed that the upgrade cost elsewhere might be around £10/€10. However, it’s half of that price.

For those that own the physical copy of Death Stranding, you’ll also get the same upgrade at the same cost. You will just need your disc to download the upgrade, as well as each time you play the game.
Owners of a PS4 disc copy must insert the disc into the PS5 every time they want to download or play the PS5 digital version of the game (which you can then play while your PS4 disc is in the drive).
The PS4 to PS5 upgrade for Death Stranding: Director’s Cut will be available this Friday on September 24th. In our review of Death Stranding on PS4, we said that Hideo Kojima’s game is “truly something spectacular.”
