The Last Of Us Part 2 Finally Gets A PS5 Update

The Last of Us Part 2 has finally got a next-gen update for the PlayStation 5.
Patch 1.08 which went live earlier this week allows you to play the game at 60 frames-per-second while maintaining upscalled 4K resolution. However, there is also an option to toggle between 60fps and 30fps if you wish.
In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Naughty Dog revealed that this “patch” is just the first step of working on the PS5. We’ll let you know when we’ve got more news to share!”
After briefly trying out The Last of Us Part 2 on the PS5 post update, I can certainly notice the added smoothness.
