Techland has announced that Dying Light 2: Stay Human is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Furthermore, the release date for Dying Light: Platinum Edition for the console too. The news was announced during Nintendo Direct.

Firstly, Dying Light 2: Stay Human will release for the Nintendo Switch on the same day as all the other systems, which is February 4th, 2022. However, it will be a cloud version, so you will need an internet connection to play it.

The Cloud version is the only way the Nintendo Switch can play a game like Dying Light 2, without seriously denting its overall quality. I am not a fan of cloud-only games, but at least the option is there.

Techland also announced the release date for Dying Light: Platinum Edition on the Nintendo Switch. This is the same game that was originally released in 2015, only with all released DLC and pre-installed updates. The Nintendo Switch port will also feature HD rumble, touchscreen, gyro aiming, motion control, as well as local and online co-op.

Dying Light: Platinum Edition will release on October 19th, and will be available both physically and digitally.
