Microsoft To Publish Rise Of The Tomb Raider

In somewhat of a surprising move, it appears that the timed exclusive Rise of the Tomb Raider will be published by Microsoft and not Square Enix when it releases next year for the Xbox One and Xbox 360.  If you remember during an interview with Eurogamer, Xbox Chief Phil Spencer said that “Yes, the deal has duration” when quizzed about whether Rise of the Tomb Raider has an exclusivity period.

So when a Twitter follow unorthodoxly asked Xbox’s lead of marketing who will be publishing the game, Aaron Greenberg replied with the tweet below.
