Trademark for Mafia II: Definitive Edition Registered

Back in September of 2019, Take-Two Interactive registered new trademarks for Mafia and Mafia II, giving fans hope that we might see remasters or remakes of both games.  Since then we’ve not heard a great deal more, however, Mafia II has now been rated on the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee.

To be exact, the registration was made for Mafia II: Definitive Edition, likely to be for all modern consoles, as well as for PC.  Alongside Mafia II: Definitive Edition, an unrelated registration was made for 2D fighting game, SNK Gals’ Fighters for the Nintendo Switch.

Hopefully as the release for Mafia II: Definitive Edition is gaining more traction, an official announcement might not be too far away.
