Update: FINALLY! Sega has officially announced that Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 are all coming to the PS4 via the Yakuza Remastered Collection, and Yakuza 3 is available to download today via the PSN Store.  Each of the three games have been upgraded from 720p/30fps to 1080p/60fps.  Despite being a collection, each title will release individually, which makes sense, as it gives us plenty of time to playthrough the games before the next one hits.

As already mentioned, Yakuza 3 is available from today, Yakuza 4 will unlock on October 29th and Yakuza 5 will unlock on February 11th, 2020.

Also releasing on February 11th is The Yakuza Remastered Collection: Day One Edition at retail.  This will include Yakuza 3 and 4 on one disc, and Yakuza 5 (it’s first physical release in the West) on another.  It will also come with a stylish, red collectible case emblazoned featuring Kiryu’s trademark dragon tattoo

As someone that started this fantastic series late-on with Yakuza 0, I’m over the moon that I can finally play this trilogy on PS4 over here in the west.  Are you excited like me?  Let us know across our social media channels.

Original Story: According to individuals on Twitter, including renowned info leaker Wario64, the Yakuza Remastered Collection has appeared on the PSN Store, which will include western remaster releases of Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 coming to the PS4, which have all been available in Asia for some time.

Earlier in the week, rumours started circulating that the remaster of Yakuza 3 would be getting an announcement soon, but releasing all three as a collection on PS4 is certainly the preferred method, rather than releasing those individually with separate release dates.  As soon as Sega makes the announcement official, I’ll update this article right away.
