It just seems like the Silent Hill rumours will not go away and the latest once again comes courtesy of AestheticGamer, who is renowned for videogame related leaks, many of which have come true.  These latest rumours follow the previous stories of a new Silent Hill game being exclusive to the PlayStation 5 and it was suggested that the game would be revealed at this week’s PS5 showcase from Sony.

However, as we now know, the PlayStation 5 showcase has now been postponed, due to what’s going on in the world in the fight against racism, in particular the events in the United States.  These latest rumours also suggest that if Silent Hill 5 wasn’t revealed this week, it would be revealed this August.

Obviously we have to take all rumours with a pinch of salt and even though Konami has squashed some recent rumours, I am a firm believer in there’s no smoke without fire.  AestheticGamer also claims that a Silent Hill 5 is in a playable state, certainly fit for a demo reveal and it will be exclusive to PS5, which was also the case with Hideo Kojima’s Silent Hills before it was cruelly canned.  It was also added that Silent Hill 5 will not be a PS5 launch game.

We can also take comfort in knowing that Konami are willing to licence the Silent Hill name, as revealed with the recent Dead by Daylight announcement., featuring Heather Mason aka Cheryl Mason and Pyramid Head.
