New Details Leaked for Next-Gen Harry Potter RPG, Including its Title!
Further details have leaked in regards to the next-gen Harry Potter RPG from Warner Bros. These latest reports follow the details that were leaked in 2018 (I’ll include a link at the bottom of this article).
As brought to our attention by VG247, an anonymous source who claims to work at WB Marketing department posted details on a Harry Potter sub-Reddit and among all the details, were the claims that the Harry Potter RPG in question will be called Hogwarts: A Dark Legacy.
As we were already led to be believed, the game will be set during the 1800’s, but it will also apparently have you play as a Hogwarts student during their fifth year, after being transferred from another school of the magical arts. The student as we were also led to be believed, will be selected from 8 different classes to choose from, as well as being able to create your own witch or wizard, and they will be fully customisable.
However, new details also include that you’ll not only be able to interact with NPC’s with an evolving story based upon your actions, but you’ll be able to romance some NPC’s too and you’ll be able to play Quidditch, which should be awesome. It is also believed that this Harry Potter RPG will be a “reimagined” version of the Nemesis system that was used to power Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War, which will result in academic rivals.
As with all leaks and rumours, they must be taken with a pinch of salt and much of the details recently shared on Reddit, were details treading on old ground. However, as they say, “there’s no smoke without fire”.
