PlayStation Boss Confident Horizon Forbidden West Will Release 2021

Following last week’s awesome gameplay showcase event for Horizon Forbidden West, a PlayStation boss seems to be confident that the Horizon Zero Dawn sequel is on track for a 2021 release.

PlayStation Studios boss Hermen Hulst was taking part in a Q&A on the PlayStation Blog.

During last week’s showcase, while PlayStation fans were blown away by what they had seen, when the showcase ended, we were hoping to get a release date for the highly anticipated sequel.  Sadly, that wasn’t the case.

However, Hulst has given fans a glimmer of hope that Horizon Forbidden West is on track to release this year. “For Horizon, we think we are on track to release this holiday season,” before adding “isn’t quite certain yet”. Yet Hulst assures fans that the team at Guerrilla Games is “working as hard as we can to confirm that to you as soon as we can”.
