WWE 2K22 March Release Date Officially Announced With New Trailer

Following the leaks earlier in the week, 2K has officially confirmed the March 11th release date for WWE 2K22, as well as releasing a new trailer.
As we already know, the legendary Rey Mysterio will be the cover star for the standard and deluxe edition. Also, there will also be a nWo 4-Life Edition.

WWE 2K22 will see two new modes, MyGM and MyFACTION. In MyGM: “players step into the role of a WWE General Manager and call the shots on their way to building the biggest brand in the WWE Universe. From drafting the ultimate roster of WWE Superstars and Legends to developing iconic rivalries and championship showdowns, players will get the chance to take the reins and prove themselves on sports entertainment’s biggest stages.”
Furthermore, in MyFACTION: “players can collect and manage their dream faction with weekly events and regular updates, providing tremendous challenges and replay value.” WWE 2K22s story mode will also celebrate the illustrious career of Rey Mysterio.

At launch, there will be four versions of WWE 2K22, the Standard Edition, Cross-Gen Digital Bundle, Deluxe Edition, as well as the 4-Life Digital Edition. Sadly at least at the time of writing, there appears to be no physical collector’s edition.
It doesn’t matter which version of WWE 2K22 you pick up, as a pre-order bonus all will receive the Undertaker Immortal Pack. This includes the phantom, ministry, and boneyard Takers. You will also get MyFACTION Evo cards, as well as MyFACTION Perks & Bonuses.

So, what do you get with each version of WWE 2K22? Well, the standard edition gets the game as well as the Undertaker Immortal Pack.
The digital Cross-Gen Bundle will grant access to both gen versions for either Xbox or PlayStation consoles. It also comes with the Starrcade ’96 Rey Mysterio Pack. It will have an RRP of £69.99.
The Deluxe Edition is available both physically and digitally and has an RRP of £84.99. The Deluxe Edition will include the season pass which grants all five post-launch DLC packs. This version will also include the Starrcade ’96 Rey Mysterio Pack.

Finally, the nWo 4-Life Edition is digital-only and has an RRP of £104.99. This version includes everything in the Deluxe Edition. Furthermore, it also comes with: “MyFACTION EVO Cards and alternate nWo attires for Hollywood Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Syxx plus a playable Eric Bischoff character, WCW Souled Out 1997 and WCW Bash at the Beach 1996 arenas, and the nWo Wolfpac Championship.”
