The free Friends Pass and Curators Cut DLC are now available to all owners of The Dark Pictures: Anthology: The Devil in Me.

Previously, this content would only be available to those that pre-ordered the game. However, as they say, “patience is a virtue” and now everyone can invite a friend to play with no need for them to buy the game. What’s more, the Curators Cut offers players the opportunity to play the game from the perspectives of other characters in the game.

However, the free online Friends Pass is only available for a month, so get in there quickly. Players will also have to play on the same platform when taking advantage of the Friends Pass.

Furthermore, not only will the Curators Cut offer a new perspective, but it also brings “new outcomes, with exclusive scenes following their initial playthrough.” The new content is available via an update for the game which also makes various stability and quality of life improvements.

In my review of The Devil in Me, I said: “while not perfect, The Devil in Me might just be my favourite game in the series yet. It’s a culmination of previous games in The Dark Pictures Anthology offering little bits of inspiration from each.”

Following the conclusion of season one of The Dark Pictures Anthology, season two was quickly teased and it’s taking its horror antics into space!

The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me is out now for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
