Konami has reportedly signed an exclusive deal with Sony which could bring Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill and Castlevania to PlayStation consoles.

We already know that Silent Hill 2 remake is at least a timed-exclusive, however, it might be joined by other Konami classic franchises. According to XboxEra podcast host Nick Baker, a Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake is headed to PlayStation 5. If that is true, I would prefer Konami to give us a new MGS remake or even jump to MGS2. That being said, Baker did attempt to temper expectations due to “uncertain” sources.

What’s more, Windows Central editor Jez Corden not only claimed to have heard similar reports in regard to an exclusive deal, adding: “Just heard Sony landed a deal with Konami for Silent Hill, Metal Gear, and maybe even a new Castlevania.”

Obviously, we should take all rumours with a pinch of salt, especially as we’ve heard similar reports before. Apparently, there might be a PlayStation Showcase in a couple of weeks, so watch this space.
