Alan Tudyk, who personally I will always consider as Wash from Firefly/ Serenity despite his well rounded film and TV career since then has soared like a leaf on the wind and has now; has been added to the cast of Transformers 3! Since Serenity, Tudyk has appeared in the TV likes of Dollhouse and V, plus movies such as 3:10 To Yuma and the original Death At A Funeral. I’m excited to see him back in a blockbuster piece of work, and hopefully Michael Bay will keep the camera still long enough to show off this man’s talent.

He has currently snagged an unspecified role in the film (though, like the recent news; Patrick Dempsey will be playing Megan Fox’s boss, I expect details to slip out soon enough).

Michael Bay’s latest venture into the world of giant fighting robots has rapidly been building an diverse cast with Dempsey, Frances McDormand and John Malkovich all getting cast in the movie and with word that Bay will be shooting scenes at Florida’s Kennedy Space Centre in September, we’re guessing there could be some orbital action. Trivia fans will note that the director last shot there while making Armageddon.
