It’s hard to believe that it has almost been 17 years since “Jurassic Park” hit the big screen and shook water glasses across the world. While the fourth film may eventually be released, there is a new series heading to your local comic shop!

While browsing /Film, I found a story that “I may be interested in” and it caught my eye. While this is technically old news (posted March 26th), it must have went under my radar!

The five part series, titled Jurassic Park: Redemption, tells the story of infamous Jurassic Park founder John Hammond’s grandchildren Lex and Tim.

It’s been 13 years since little Tim and Lex Murphy escaped from the island of Isla Nublar, and recent public opinion has reversed, with the world clamoring for authorities to re-open Jurassic Park! While Tim and Lex try to preserve the Hammond family name, a secret deal is hatched to open a new park! This time they’ll get it right… right?

This will be Bob Schreck’s first time penning a story for a comic, and artist Nate Van Dyke will be doing the illustrations. It’s also interesting to note that each cover will be don’t by a different artist. Pictured below is the version by legendary Frank Miller.

The first of the series releases in June, and will sell for roughly $3.99.
