Borderlands 2 Hitting Consoles and PC in 2012

Gearboxes Borderlands 2 is in development and is going to be hitting shelves in 2012.
The upcoming sequel will be coming to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. No official comment has been made yet by 2K games however we expect a official statement coming soon.
The original Borderlands came out in 2009 which has since gathered a large fan base, Gearbox has also supported the game from the ground up and are still supporting with regular updates and DLC.
