God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2 Steal the Thunder at #TheGameAwards

I have to admit, I really enjoyed this year’s The Game Awards, as it was done in a very tasteful manner full of heart stopping performances by the orchestra and guests as well as some really exciting reveals. Sorry Alien and Death Stranding fans, we quite did not get the reveal we were hoping for. But here are all the clips of the highlight we could find for you in one convenient place.

 

Devil Trigger, the main song from Devil May Cry 5 also got its first ever performance, as well as one for Red Dead Redemption 2 that really won the audience over. It really went to show why the game’s music was deserving of the best music award.

 

However, in terms of awards, Red Dead Redemption 2 and God of War won the best ones, with God of War winning Game of the Year. Full breakdown of the awards follow as below (winners in bold):
