Resurructed Avalanche Software Now Making Cars 3 Under Warner Bros

 

Not to be confused with the developers of game’s such as Just Cause and Mad Max, before being shuttered in 2016, Avalanche Software was acquired by Disney, underneath whom games like Cars 2 and Disney Infinity were made. However, Warner Bros has recently re-opened up the studio and has kept most of the development team and leadership it had under Disney, including John Blackburn who was its Senior Vice-President.

 

The first game they are currently making  after the resurrection will be another Disney title, a game based on the upcoming Cars 3 whose release is due later this year. However, this does not mean that they will be developing Disney products only, as they will be venturing onto other original projects as well.  We’ll keep you posted on all related developments.
