Update: Gears of War 4 Xbox One S console officially revealed

Update: Microsoft have now officially announced the 2TB Gears of War 4 Crimson Omen Limited Edition Xbox One S console (now that’s a mouthful)and have released a batch of new screenshots and videos.  But that’s not all, as a second “grey/blue” Gears of War 4 controller has also been revealed, which is said to represent the armour of Marcus Fenix’s son, JD Fenix.  It will have an RRP of £399.99.  Below are all the need to know official details on this awesome console direct from the Xbox Wire.

The Gears of War 4 Crimson Omen Limited Edition console includes:

Original article 13/07/16: Many had expected Microsoft to announce a snazzy limited edition console for Gears of War 4 at E3, sadly that did not happen.  However, thanks to Twitter user ekim_gaf, who has a reliable track record of being correct with Xbox related leaks, has revealed that a Gears of War 4 console is on the way, as seen in the image above.The limited edition 2TB Xbox One S console will have a blood red colour with the iconic Crimson Omen emblem.  It will also come with a Gears of War 4 themed controller (not the Elite controller) and an digital Ultimate Edition copy of the game, which includes the season pass.  The console does also have an RRP of $449, but that is “subject to change”, so you can expect it to (hopefully) be less come release.

The console will launch alongside Gears of War 4 this year on October 11^th.
