Release Schedule outs a possible Dark Knight Rises game and more Battlefield

There could be a new Batman game on the scene to take on RockSteady’s series if a release schedule obtained by MCV is to be believed.

The schedule comes from a ‘Major UK High Street Retailer’, and while you could count those on one hand, what you might not be expecting is more Battlefield so soon.

The listing’s state both games will be arriving this fall (Autumn), with Batman most likely releasing alongside the latest film. Battlefield on the other hand, listed as ‘Battlefield Evolved’ could simply be a collection of Battlefield 3 with all of the soon to be released downloadable content backed in, though this is pure speculation. It’s unlikely that we would see a new entry to the series this year as EA is currently prepping the new Medal Of Honor: Warfighter for release in October.

Finally, GTA V is also listed for the Autumn. Rockstar is releasing Max Payne 3 in May, so it’s possible that we could see GTA V this year, however I wouldn’t be surprised if this was simply a placeholder date, as retailers are known to assign to titles.
