The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Limited Edition is Awesome, But Out of Stock Everywhere

To release alongside the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, a Nintendo Switch remake of the Game Boy original from the 1990’s, is getting an awesome Limited Edition.  Sadly however, it seems to be going out of stock within moments, whenever pre-orders go live.

From what I can tell, retailers Game, ShopTo and Simply Games had or will have stock, but you’ll have to check regularly and act quickly should you find any.  Oddly, I’ve not noticed it go live on the Nintendo Shop at the moment, but for some reason, their pre-orders for special editions don’t often go live until after 3rd-party retailers, as they do with new Amiibo’s.  So it’s also worth checking Nintendo from time to time.

If you are lucky enough to pick-up this Limited Edition for the price of £79.99, then you’re in for a treat.  Just if you can, stay away from eBay scalpers who are currently selling pre-orders for around £150 (and then some), unless you’re desperate to get hold of one.

In The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Limited Edition, you get a copy of the game, a Game Boy Steelbook case and a 120-page art book.  The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will release for the Nintendo Switch, this year on September 20th.  You can check out the games most recent gameplay trailer from E3 2019 below.
