Did that strange tagline hurt your brain reading it as much as it did when I thought of it? Good, I’ll clarify. Blizzard Entertainment and USAopoly are to launch Monopoly: World of Warcraft and Risk: StarCraft sometime this year. Video game enthusiasts are now jumping up in the air and high-fiving in slow motion… or maybe that’s just me. But seriously, why aren’t there more board game adaptations of video games?

Unfortunately for those living outside the USA, these beauties will only be available in specialist stores in North America. However, do not fret; the internet is your friend and it will never fail to provide.

If you’re interested in buying up real estate in Azeroth it’ll only set you back $39.95 and if you’re a fan or Terrans and the like, Risk: StarCraft will $49.45. If none of the above really interest you then I have it on good authority that there are also Metal Gear Solid and Halo variations of Risk, fun for everyone!
