Rodea The Sky Soldier is Flying Onto Wii U & 3DS In North America & Europe!

 

Rodea The Sky Soldier, a new title developed by Kadokawa Games and published by NIS America will be coming to North America and Europe later this year. It will release exclusively for Nintendo Wii U and 3DS physically, as well as being available via digital download for both platforms. You play as Rodea. A mechanical sky soldier from the airborne kingdom of Garuda. He has awoken from a 1000 year slumber, perplexed to find himself in the future. Rodea must defend his homeland from a dangerous force known as The Naga Empire. A race of beings who have returned after over a millennium of peace to wage war on Garuda.

Players will have the ability to complete missions by soaring across the land of Garuda and solving fiendish puzzles and demolishing enemies, earning you gears and gravitons that can be used to upgrade your abilities and equipment. Your equipment can range from enhancements to your flying abilities all the way to powerful machine guns, giving you plenty of variable opportunities to dispatch your foes. Combat appears to place an emphasis on the acrobatics and manoeuvrability of your character, giving you ample chance to replay missions to chase high scores and uncover hidden objectives. Setting new speed records will net you rare equipment and unlockables, encouraging replayability.
