In the boom of the roguelike genre one of the games that stood out to many was The Binding of Isaac. The game took obvious influence from the old school dungeons of Zelda games and delivered a dark and deliciously difficult experience on each platform it appeared on. It also delivered a surprisingly fun multiplayer option, where another player could take one of the main characters health hearts and assist them in their journey against enemies and bosses.

Now more people are going to get a chance to sample that multiplayer thanks to the impending Nintendo Switch release, with it’s out of the box two player functionality. We also know that the impending Nintendo Switch release is THIS WEEK! Due out on March 17th the game is getting a physical release in America, although nothing has been confirmed in other territories. Hopefully it does happen though because look at the lovely details going in to the boxed version in the Tweet below and over on their blog. Keep an eye on PushStartPlay for further updates.
