Remember the ongoing rumour; well it wasn’t exactly a rumour as Cliff had himself confirmed it via a really old interview before the game was even officially announced. Still, Ubisoft was keeping rather tightlipped about it. However, Invada Records have announced that they will publish Far Cry 4’s official soundtrack.

There are two versions that will be available for purchase. One is the digital version which is available for pre-purchase from iTunes, and will release tomorrow. However, for those of you that prefer the physical edition, you will have to wait for the 2-disc edition that won’t start shipping at least until early December. You can pre-purchase that from Amazon, and it ships to a lot of locations!

The samples which can be heard via the iTunes link, sound absolutely refreshing. You can in fact, check out 4 tracks for free via the distributor’s soundcloud profile page. We have embedded them above for your convenience. So far, it sounds like Cliff has mixed western rhythm with Bollywood-ish melodies.

I am honestly not surprised to see it having memorable and stylish melodies so far as Cliff is known for his stylistic and memorable work on movies such Drive and Traffic. This is his first full length videogame score, even though he has worked as a co-composer alongside Brian Eno on EA’s Spore before.
