Exited about insane Final Fantasy crossover brawler Dissidia Duodecim for the PSP? Well if you live in Europe then you may be interested in the “Legacy Edition” due alongside the standard version come March 25th.

As you can see from this promo picture that makes my job a whole lot easier, the legacy edition will feature the standard fancy box and art cards, but also a DLC code for some rather fetching alternate costumes for Squall and Tifa. The Squall costume appears to be his Kingdom Hearts attire, in which he goes under the name of “Leon”. As for Tifa, hers  is…..uh……..red? The pack will also be bundled with voucher that gives you a 50% discount for the PSP remake of the original Final Fantasy available on the Playstation Store.

Now if that gets your heart pumping, then you may also be interested in participating in Square Enix’s character tournament over at dissidia012game.com. I have to admit I only learnt about this a few seconds ago, but it sounds pretty cool. Basically there’s going to be a series of “what if?” fights between various Dissidia heroes and villains, the results of which will be determined by a popularity poll. Once the poll ends, SE will publish a video of a Dissidia Duodecim match depicting the confrontation. Voting hasn’t started on any of the match ups yet, but the poll to determined the actual combatants has just ended. Here’s the roster as it stands:

Heroes
Lightning
Yuna
Cloud
Laguna

Villains
Sephiroth
Jecht
Gabranth
Ultimecia

Anyone got any favorites they’re gonna vote for? I’m rooting for my man Jecht to blaze his way to victory and show those pretty boys (and girls) how a real man fights!
