Ryse: Son of Rome Gets Duel Of Fates DLC Pack

Microsoft and Crytek have announced the release of “Duel of Fates“, the next DLC pack for the Xbox One exclusive title Ryse: Son of Rome. The pack is available now for £4.79 or as part of the Season Pass at no extra cost if you’ve chosen to purchase that.

The add-on pack adds two new arena mode round-to-round maps called “Invictus” and “Barbarous“, as well as a survival map entitled “Island“. In addition to the maps there is also two new gladiator skins available based on some of the characters found in the singleplayer campaign: Glott the Barbarian Chief and Marius Titus.

The maps are all loosely based on historical events. “Invictus” is inspired by a series of slave uprisings known as The Servile Wars,  “Barbarous” is based on numerous Barbarian invasions of the Roman Empire.
