Ryse Son Of Rome “Mars’ Chosen Pack” DLC Detailed

Microsoft Studios and Crytek have announced a new DLC pack for Ryse: Son Of Rome. The new “Mars’ Chosen Pack” DLC available for $8.99 on February 28th or free as part of the Ryse: Son Of Rome season pass.

The “Mars’ Chosen Pack” adds a few new maps, a new character model and a new co-op gameplay type, imaginatively entitled Survival Mode.

In Survival mode you’ll be battling alongside a friendly warrior, trying to survive endless waves of enemies while your health continually depletes.  You’ll earn health boosts with kills and executions, but the longer you survive, the faster the rate of heath depletion will be. It’ll be pretty hectic.

If that doesn’t sound like your thing then maybe the inclusion of new maps will be. “Mars’ Chosen Pack” will be five maps. Firestorm, Dockyard and a revamped Courtyard are specifically created for Survival Mode. The other two are ancient Egypt themed Arena mode maps, called Pyramid and Obelisk.

Last but not least, gamers will be able to get a new character model, The Legionary, to change their online gladiators appearance.
