The Legacy Of Kain Game That Never Was

 

There are loads and loads of times where games have gotten cancelled in this industry, however not many are as heartbreaking as this. For you see, The Legacy of Kain: Dead Sun was well in development and was looking to be a very interesting addition to the series.

As you can see in the video above, the game had some genuinely satisfying and clever mechanics that would have given it recognition. Don’t even get me started on the solid voice acting, and powerful facial performance. The game would’ve sure been something.

To top it all off, the game would have been written by the immensely talented Sam Barlow, who many may remember as the writer for the interesting, and clever take on Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. From the dialogue and delivery in the video, you can see he was on the right track. Pity as we may not see this game ever finished. Here is hoping for a miracle!
