Dark Souls Remastered Nintendo Switch Dated for October

After originally being scheduled to release alongside PC, PS4 and Xbox One, Dark Souls: Remastered for the Nintendo Switch was delayed with a vague summer release window.  However, Bandai Namco has now announced that Dark Souls: Remastered will release for Nintendo Switch on October 19^th, along with the awesome Solaire of Astora amiibo figure!  “Praise the Sun!”

Speaking of the amiibo, when using the figure during your game, it will grant you instant access to the famous pose in which this figure is based upon.  It would have been cool to get some new and exclusive armour, but hey, it’s better than a poke in the eye with a rusty stick, and the amiibo is cool, so there you go.
