God of War Has Gone Gold (Which Basically Means No More Delays)

Courtesy of the PlayStation Blog, Sony and Santa Monica Studios have announced that God of War which is set to release on PS4 next month has gone gold! Which used to mean that the game has finished development and it’s ready to ship to retail, well the later is true, but we all know that in this day and age with patches and so forth, very rarely has any game truly finished developed for release.
That said, the way I look at games going gold nowadays, is that it’s pretty much confirmation that the game in question will have no further delays and let’s be honest, we all know that Santa Monica Studios will do an awesome job anyway and I can’t wait!
God of War is set to release for PlayStation 4 on April 20th.
