Metal Gear Solid HD Vita Collection Release Date

The Metal Gear Solid Facebook page reports that the highly anticipated HD collection for the Playstation Vita will be arriving in North America on June 12th. No release date has yet been announced for Europe though, so check back when we know further information.

The HD collection comprises of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Strangely though there is no Peace Walker, which is odd considering it was made for the handheld and could have utilised the Vita well.

The HD collection is currently out on both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, both featuring Peace Walker as well as Snake Eater and Sons of Liberty. Check out the review for the console version right here.
