Two more games in Sega’s burgeoning flow of HD remakes have been priced and dated, and they’re arriving sooner than you might think.

Both Sonic Adventure 2 and NiGHTS into Dreams will release on October 2nd for $9.99/£7.99 on PSN, and October 5th on XBL for 800 Microsoft Points.

They have also confirmed that Sonic Adventure 2 will, like Sonic Adventure’s rerelease, be upgradeable to its Gamecube version via “Battle Mode DLC”, at a cost of 240 points/$3, which will add some multiplayer modes. The Dreamcast and Gamecube game features two main stories with 3 characters on each side of the story and 3 styles of gameplay, keeping it fresh throughout.

As well as this, they have confirmed that Christmas NiGHTS, the highly sought after Sega Saturn game that was released by Official Saturn Magazine in the UK or in hardware bundles around the world, will be part of the NiGHTS release at no extra charge. Believe me, Christmas NiGHTS is definitely something you should play on Christmas morning, it’s kind of a tradition of mine. Seeing these screenshots of the updated graphics shows a great deal more clarity than the game has ever had, so this promises to be the version to own for pure playing given how hectic the game can be if you’re looking to get those high scores.

Look out for a review of these games near release date. Source: SEGA
