PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate On Its Way To Mac & Linux

Publisher Double Eleven, best known for their work on last years LittleBigPlanet on Vita, has announced that Q-Games’ tower defense game PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate will be available for Mac and Linux on September 30th. Released for Windows just last month PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate is an updated HD version of the game originally released for the Playstation 3 back in 2008.

Taking control of Tikiman the Forest Defender, players are tasked with protecting his realm from a barrage of monsters hellbent on eating his offspring. As well as monsters you’ll find yourself adapting to resource management, tower building, treasure collecting and arsenal upgrades.

With simple but challenging gameplay and the new remastered HD graphics, PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate looks like a colourful and fun choice for Mac and Linux fans of the genre. PC players who have already purchased the new version can also download it on their Mac OS or Linux systems free via Steam Play.
