Resident Evil Code Veronica X is coming to PS4 this week!

Back in March, Resident Evil: Code Veronica X appeared on the German Classification board for PlayStation 4.  While many (including me) hoped that this would be a remaster, the likelihood was that it would be coming to us via the PS2 Classics on the PS4’s PSN Store and now it’s been made official.

The news was officially announced on the Resident Evil social media channels, as seen via the tweet below.  It was confirmed that Resident Evil Code Veronica X is coming this week to PS2 Classics digitally on PS4 on May 9th in North America and the 10th across Europe.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica X had some extra cut-scenes over its original Sega Dreamcast release, as well as some minor graphical improvements.  However, the PS4 version would look better regardless with it being in a crisp 1080p, not to mention having full trophy support.

With a host of Resident Evil back-catalogue titles already re-released by Capcom and with Resident Evil: Revelations coming to PS4 and Xbox One at the end of this year, what else do you want to see released?  Personally, I would love to see Outbreak File 1 and 2 fully remastered with online co-op support.
