Street Fighter X Mega Man To Be Released For Free On PC

Capcom have announced at the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Tournament in San Francisco that they are releasing a fan-made project that jams Street Fighter into the Mega Man universe, pitting the Blue Bomber against The World Warriors.

With 8 bosses based on Street Fighter characters, this project will be released for free at Capcom-Unity for PC on December 17th. By releasing this fan project into the wild with their backing, they clearly hope to inform the world that they still care about their old mascot, especially on his 25th anniversary year.

While not usually that into Mega Man, this intrigues me greatly from a design perspective and a love for Street Fighter. Hopefully it will gain good exposure for the creators as well as being the start of an upward trend for Capcom.
