It seems that Naughty Dog is working on something big for the next generation of consoles, quite what that is yet remains extremely tight-lipped, and understandably so.

The Uncharted developer has listed openings for co-op developers, audio programmers and multiplayer designers, but they are now also looking to hire a Network Programmer, who will be responsible for the design and implementation of “high level network code for [a] next-generation title”.

Whilst there is absolutely nothing concrete here and no clues as to what Naughty Dog’s new title may be, let us all rejoice in the news that there WILL at least be a new ‘Dog game in the near future. Perhaps a next-gen Jak could be on the cards?

With The Last of Us releasing on 14th June, it seems unlikely that Naughty Dog will announce a new title at E3 and given that TLOU is set to receive three DLC packs, we may be waiting some time to find out what that new title is.
