New Revision of Wii U Tablet Shows Up on Twitter

The Wii U tablet controller is certainly the most talked about aspect of Nintendo’s new console, and as the system will be having a blow-out at this year’s E3, it seems fair that leaked images and details are once again hitting the Internet.

The studio behind the Lego titles, TellTale Games may have let the cat out of the bag when it comes to a new revision of the tablet sighted on Twitter from a QA tester. While the image may now have been removed, a number of websites grabbed it before it disappeared, meaning that you can check it out for yourself below.

Subtle changes appear to have been made

Joystiq notes a number of changes that the controller has seen since its original unveiling at E3 2011, primarily the addition of Analog Sticks taking the place of the Circle-Pad (3DS). A number of mystery buttons have also appeared, as well as changes to a number of button and logo placements. The home button now appears to be elevated and surrounded by a light not too dissimilar to the Xbox 360 ring of light, not to mention that it now sports circular gates around the analog sticks as opposed to the famous octagonal ones that previous Nintendo systems have used.

Expect to see more when Nintendo showcases the system at their press conference this year at E3 2012,
