Rumour: Capcom registers Onimusha in Japan

It seems that Capcom has registered Onimusha in Japan, that’s according to Japanese blog breaking the potential news (so thank you for that one).  It’s not known at this time as to whether this will be one of Capcom’s HD remasters or in-fact a new game in the long running series, I’m hoping it will be the later.

Despite Onimusha being one of the PlayStation’s most beloved series, we’ve not seen a numbered sequel since Onimusha 3: Demon Siege in 2004.  Though we did have Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams in 2006, but I missed that boat.  We’ll keep you updated should we hear any further developments.
